Kinga Angelys delivers an empowering performance on "Hurricane"

Coming out incredibly strong on her first single of 2022, Kinga Angelys has delivered a powerful one titled “Hurricane”. Read on for our full review of the track, in addition to a background on this talented artist.

Born in Canada, but currently representing the music scene in Germany, Kinga Angelys is a singer and songwriter who’s showing off her dynamic vocals on “Hurricane”. As this was our first foray into her music as a whole, she’s honestly impressed us unbelievably with the entire package and rollout of this song. It’s strong, powerful, and makes you want to listen over and over again. We are highly suggesting everyone give this a spin.

Self-describing this as “an edgier track than usual”, she’s lyrically composed this one to draw out all the emotion and empowerment possible. While you’ll quickly realize that the instrumentation here is top notch in all regards, the true constant of the track undoubtedly are Kinga’s vocals. Right from the beginning, she makes her presence known and takes control of the situation. As a listener, you’re hanging on every line being sung, patiently waiting on for what’s to come.

This song very much falls under the umbrella of “Pop”, however there’s a real classic maturity that flows through it as well. It’s a bit contemporary at moments, but it does the perfect job of avoiding that same sounding mainstream lane. Kinga has certainly dug out a niche for herself and it’s going to be a fun journey to further explore her discography. Considering this is the first single to come this year, here’s to hoping that a bunch more are following soon enough!

Plain and simple, we sincerely enjoyed this song and know you will too. Please check out the following links below in order to listen, follow along, and stay tuned for everything else she’s got on the way.
