Jay Denton and ENDURE Studios share their massive collaboration record, "For Home"

Recently released by Jay Denton and ENDURE Studios, a wonderful collaboration titled For Home is what we’ll be reviewing today. Please do yourselves a favor and read along for our thoughts on the record.
With a high energy sound that brings together his Texan roots and his current base in Los Angeles, California singer, songwriter, and producer Jay Denton is combining genre-blending styles with storytelling lyrics and dynamic melodies. Growing up in Dallas, TX, then making the jump to LA for a degree in international relations has given Denton a wide range of both musical and life influences, and he brings those to every song he writes - whether for himself or for the array of artists he has written and produced for.
In addition for those who may be unaware, ENDURE Studios is a music production company in Los Angeles, California, founded by Jay. While working to write and produce records at the highest level locally, the studio also has a unique global aspect to it through ENDURE International Projects. Seeking to harness the power of music and story, Denton travels to regions of the world that have been de-stabilized through conflict, and writes/records songs with artists there who have been affected by trauma, war, or persecution. Then back at the LA studio, ENDURE Studios works with US based, featured artists to sing alongside the international artists, and create a cross cultural album that weaves together languages, styles, and stories.
What we have here on For Home is truly an international experience through music that we are proud to take part in, as far as the review goes. Coming in at 24 tracks, spanning nearly an hour and a half, this was a listen that took a close ear and an open heart. Featuring so many incredibly talented artists, 17 to be exact, it’s a combined effort from so many that is truly inspirational to the times we’re living in. It was released on August 14th of 2020, but we can’t even imagine how much work was put in beforehand to have the final product.
As far as the music goes, being blown away would be an understatement. Truly, it would be impossible to pick out individual favorite tracks, as the album flows effortlessly from start to finish. We will say that the immense effort and focus from Jay Denton to put all of this together, as well as producing, is an endeavour that must have taken ages. However, it appears that he’s devoted his life to this cause and considering he’s succeeding in everything he touches, we’ll be here to cheer him on with everything he works on. With that being said, he’s let us know that his next endeavour will be taking place in East Africa next year in 2021. We’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for that release.
Wrapping things up, For Home is a journey through sounds, atmosphere, and culture that we were not expecting, but ultimately ended up loving every second of. We’re highly recommending and suggesting you take the time out of your day and listen to it all, you’re going to love it!
