Jane n' the Jungle turn it up a notch on single, "Trouble"
Back and better than ever, Jane n’ the Jungle have just put forth yet another powerful and commanding single, “Trouble”. Do yourselves a favor and read along as we break down the track, as well as provide a refresher on the band.
Branching out from their roots a bit on this newest single “Trouble”, Jane n’ the Jungle have certainly turned it up a notch in terms of sound, production, and heaviness. With influences like Brand New and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, they’re continuing to evolve their signature sound and lean towards the harder side of things. Whether you want to call it metal or hard rock, it doesn’t matter, because we love it.
It’s been a while since we’ve covered the band, but on their last output on “Lucky 7” they turned us into mega fans. Seriously, barely a day has gone by since we haven’t hummed the chorus from that track. On “Trouble” though, their formula is as aligned as ever and they’re solidifying themselves as one of the leaders in alternative rock. At this point, their accomplishments and future goals should know no bounds.
We’ll just go ahead at this point and highly recommend you give it a listen, as well as their music video they’ve released to further amplify the song’s greatness. You can watch it by scrolling to the bottom, or you can click here as well.
Regardless, we need to continue to complement the band on their pivot here. It could be that we hadn’t made the full realization of just how “hard” their sound was before, or maybe it’s just that lead singer Jordan White has continued to get better vocally and was showing off. No matter which way you swing it, what you’re going to get on “Trouble” is a seriously high-powered single that doesn’t let up until the very final seconds. If you were looking for a cup of coffee in the form of music, you’ve come to the right place.
Wrapping it up though, if this happens to be your introduction to Jane n’ the Jungle, then you’ve entered at a great time. They’ve built up their discography enough at this point that there’s plenty of goodies to dig into, but we definitely recommend starting with “Trouble” to see how their sound has shifted over the years. Enjoy!
