Jamie Crew overdelivers on exceptional EP, "Mind In Space"

Finally showcasing his music to the world, Jamie Crew has delivered with his latest EP release, Mind In Space. Dive head first into this record by checking out our full review, in addition to a background on the artist.

After years of keeping his music to himself, Jamie Crew has branched out and shared this long awaited record called Mind In Space. He’s finally realized his artistic potential and put out an absolute banger of an album that delivers on so many levels. If you’re looking to get dancing or have room for another talented musician in your life, we highly recommend you check this one out.

Says Jamie on the background of Mind In Space, “I found it fascinating how thoughts and experiences can become a record. From a young age I quickly fell in love with music with lyrics influenced by deeply personal experiences”.

As productionally impressive as this EP really is, one of the things that stood out to us the most was just how vulnerable Jamie is within his lyricism. Touching on tough topics like depression, anxiety, death, and so much more, this isn’t the type of listen to take lightly. Sure, there’s plenty of moments to get lost in the sound and the sheer grandness of what you’re hearing, however the deep themes presented give the listener a real close look into the mind of someone who was struggling.

To think that Jamie is only 18 years old and able to put out something like this is beyond impressive. Songs like “Depressed Since 9” or “Lost In The Unknown” feel like they’re coming from a seasoned professional, so it’s got us even more excited as we look towards the future to see what he can come up with next. Not to rush the artistry, because we know how difficult creation can be, but we’ll certainly be looking forward to the follow up.

If this happens to be your introduction to Jamie Crew, well, you’ve discovered him at the perfect time as he’s priming himself to have a real breakout with this record. We obviously recommend you give it a listen, but make sure to follow along with his journey as well because it looks like big things are soon on the way. Check out the links below for more!
