Filled with groovy synthesizers and intoxicating lyricism, this new single from Jamie Alimorad called “Give A Little Lovin’” is exactly the type of optimism we were looking for. In fact, it’s actually a collaboration between him and lyricist/composer/producer, Ross Vannelli. Together, they’ve infused retro pop elements to create something that’s super danceable and re-playable. Obviously we’re giving it our seal of approval!
With albums and national tours under his belt already, Jamie Alimorad is back on it with a song that’s virtually guaranteed to get people talking and moving. Right from the get go on this short and sweet track, the collaborators waste zero time getting the BPM high and an eclectic use of instrumentation presented. While the entirety of the background is stimulating in the best sense, the real constant of it all has to be Jamie’s vocals that provide a sense of warmth.
As a series of singles prepare themselves for release sometime in 2022, we have to give it to Jamie and the team for knocking it out of the park on this first track. Truly, it’s not often a song like this becomes an earworm for us, but truly it’s been on repeat since the moment it got sent our way. The production is crisp and clean, it doesn’t overstay its welcome in the slightest, and is actually a pure representation of everything that is right in Pop music at the moment. We’re seriously interested to see what else comes this year from the duo.
Considering this was our first introduction to Jamie’s music, we know full well it’s not going to be our last.
