Jade Patteri follows up her "Unity" EP with a music video for single, "Invisible"

Review by Austin Sher

Originally from her 2019 EP, Unity, Jade Patteri has debuted the official music video for her single, “Invisible”. Read along with us as we break down our thoughts on what we thought of the video, as well as a bit of background on the artist herself.

The best thing about Jade Patteri is that she’s a triple threat (acting, dancing, singing), she does it all!. Jade was a recipient of the 2019 Broadway Artists Alliance/ JRAYS (John Raitt) Award as one of three High School students chosen in Southern California to go to New York City performing at the Symphony Space off Broadway. She was also honored as the 2019 Artist of the year at the National Youth Arts Awards. She is a multiple award winning actress for her portrayals of Annie Sullivan in “The Miracle Worker” as well.

Although it was released last year, Jade is currently promoting her EP Unity and releasing 2 music videos for the two most popular songs on the EP. They will be releasing to VEVO and will be available to view on my new VEVO YouTube channel! Although this review is for “Invisible”, you can definitely expect the video for “Unity” to be released sometime in September. Invisible includes just Jade in the video, where-as Unity is a bigger project incorporating Paul Toweh (actor/rapper on the track), Kayla Radomski (female lead dancer in the video) as seen on "So You think You Can Dance" and Marcus Mitchell (male lead dancer in the video) as seen in "Step Up: The Series", Outrage (assistant speciality choreographer), and Fresh Redding our choreographer! Following those music video releases, she has 5 original new singles releasing by the end of the year.

Now that we’ve more than familiarized ourselves with the background of Jade, let’s talk “Invisible”. Our first impressions on the video were just how wonderfully put together and produced. Besides the music being top notch, it was honestly just a joy to watch something so professionally made. The juxtaposition between dark and light shots, mixed with a bit of drama, and the actual song itself mixed in, absolute perfection. Enjoying the video so much was grounds to do a deep dive into the rest of Jade’s discography, which we would highly recommend you do yourselves.

Ultimately here’s the truth, if you enjoyed the single and video for “Invisible”, you might as well do yourself a service and listen to the entire Unity EP. Considering it’s only 18 minutes, we can virtually guarantee you’ll thoroughly enjoy it. Once you finish that up, might as well listen to “In My Dreams” as well. We weren’t overly familiar with Jade’s work before seeing the video, but now you can 100% consider us to be fans. We’re absolutely looking forward to the rest of her releases this year!
