Jaclyn Manfredi produces an exceptional new single, "Better Match"

For those unaware, Jaclyn Manfredi is a New York City based singer and songwriter who manages to expertly fuse soulful R&B with modern beats, along with a truly unique signature style of her own. Having been involved in the music scene since a young age, her artist influence range from the likes of Amy Winehouse to Bruno Mars. What she’s crafted on “Better Match” is nothing short of incredible.
Soulful in her vocals and highly inventive within her deep and complex lyricism, her latest output is cementing her a shapeshifter in the art pop genre. On “Better Match” specifically, Manfredi states, “the track is one of my favorites because it talks about so many different topics. This song is about the process of healing and moving on from initial heartbreak, but finding your self-worth through it. This song means so much to me and I hope someone can relate to it too!”
You’re not alone Jaclyn, we’re relating a little close at the moment. As lovely as the actual song sounds itself, it’s more than just a song. Obviously the roots of the track are coming from personal life experiences, and whenever a song pulls from those, there’s always a genuine connection and quality that it subconsciously exudes. We think you can tell within the delivery of the song that it’s real and probably felt great to put the feeling into lyrics.
Seeing as though the track is the artist’s first proper release of 2021, our instant new hopes and wishes are that more are on the way soon. While we’d never want to rush an artist into creativity, we’ve loved everything we’ve explored from her so far, and ultimately need some more Jaclyn Manfredi in our lives.
