Helen looks inward on groovy single, "Bitter Bitch"
Keeping things ultimately groovy, Helen has made her return to 2022 with a huge new single titled “Bitter Bitch”! Please read on for our full review of the track, in addition to a background on this artist.
Currently representing the music scene in the DMV, Helen has been on a roll since mid-2021 when she put out her first single, “Forgive Me”. Since then, she’s been steadily gaining a following and we confidently think she’s headed in the right direction, especially with this new song “Bitter Bitch”. Blending together Pop, Funk, and R&B, music lovers across the entire spectrum are surely going to vibe hard with this one.
Centering this track around her divine vocals and a killer bassline, this song goes as deep lyrically as it does sonically. Helen has not only shown off her skills in music composition, but her strong songwriting side as well. As funny as we think the title of the song is, you’ve got to look a bit deeper to really capture those themes. It’s got us super excited for what might be in the works for the rest of this year, but it’ll surely be difficult to top something as majestic as this.
With that being said, right from the top, everything about “Bitter Bitch” filled us with a playfulness bordering on empowerment. It takes an obviously strong person to craft a song that looks inward, but the fact that she goes one step more and creates something that makes you want to get up and dance just makes it that much sweeter. We’ll admit that this was our first introduction to her music as a whole, but after falling in love quick, it’s certainly not going to be our last.
That brings us to our last point here, mainly the message that this is definitely going to be Helen’s biggest year yet. She set the base in 2021 and it’s not going to be a surprise to see her rise up the ranks this year. In the meantime, familiarize yourselves with her all new song and her social media links by checking out everything below. Enjoy!
