Originally from out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Gina Owens is a country music artist who has made big waves on her first two singles. Inspired by Iowa natvie artists, Hailey Whitters and Maddi Poppe, she’s certainly infused her own originality and inventiveness into this newest piece “Take Him Home''. After many listens at this point, we are highly recommending you get into it as soon as possible.
For someone like Gina who’s been on a lifelong journey in the space of writing, performing, and singing, she’s made her dreams the ultimate reality by laying down original music and bringing the much deserved spotlight to herself. Now based out of Nashville, she’s enlisted a beyond talented team of herself, Sarah Morey, Erin McCaffrey, and producer PT Houston to help out with this hidden gem. With “Take Him Home” and now “Flirt With Me” out, she’s positioned herself for a promising career.
As of recently, there’s been a ton of lovely country music headed our way and it’s really opened our eyes to the diversity of the genre and insanely talented artists bringing more attention to it. On “Take Him Home” specifically, Gina has done a magnificent job of allowing her vocals to be the star of the show, but at the same time allowing a diverse instrumentation to back her up on an overall vibrant song. We’re not surprised it turned out as well as it did considering the top tier team at Off the Row Studio helping to put it together, however the heart and soul of Gina Owens has certainly cut through it all in the best way.
Considering she’s at the beginning of her official music career in terms of releases, she’s not only hot on our radar, but she should be on yours too! Whether you’re a country music lover or not, “Take Him Home” may just be the song to bridge that gap and divide, so do yourselves a big favor whenever you may be reading this and dive in immediately.
