Gabriella Zauna explores her newest creation, "Gold Bentleys and Red Carpets" - Interview

With another single release comes another stellar interview with one of our favorite emerging artists, Gabriella Zauna. Take the time and check out our newest interview where we break her latest track, “Gold Bentleys and Red Carpets”.

Singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Gabriella Zauna quickly shot to the top of our radar with the release of her last single, “damn I love the rain”, but on her newest release “Gold Bentleys and Red Carpets”, she’s solidifying herself as one of our favorite artists in the genre. Just like last time, we got the opportunity to speak in depth and honestly with the artist about every important facet of the song, as well as what else is on the way.

On the background of “Gold Bentleys and Red Carpets” Gabriella notes, “this song is written in character about an old Hollywood 50’s family who has all the money and fame in the world, yet they are the most unhappy people to exist. Throughout the song you see them slowly starting to fall apart. The deeper meaning behind this characterization is the fact that people put on facades to show a happy fake version of themselves, when in reality they actually are ripping at the seams. You never really know who someone is.”

The music video for this track is the perfect and necessary visual representation that the song needed as a whole. Not only is it unbelievably pretty to watch in general, but the story is easy to follow as well. The mood, atmosphere, and complete story was mastered to a tee and is legitimately one of the coolest videos we’ve seen in a while. As always, the music side of things from Gabriella is expected to be top notch, but she really does go the extra length in bringing another side of artistry to the mix.

On the production side of things, this is actually the first single that wasn’t solely produced by Gabriella, rather she brought in some extra help to step things up another notch. That’s not to say her past music wasn’t already stepping itself up in the first place, but sometimes you need an outside ear and expertise to help complete the package. Everything came together wonderfully and we truly can’t wait for all to listen to the song and watch our complete interview with this rising star.
