Considering this was his debut single, we couldn’t help but be incredibly impressed! Do yourselves a favor and get into DANIEL’s new single, “Nobody Knows My Name”, as well as a background on the artist as well.

Originally born in the UK, DANIEL is a singer and songwriter who’s now immersed himself in the London music scene. Self-described as “pop-laced music with raw and honest lyrics”, we wholeheartedly agree with that statement, because “Nobody Knows My Name” was about as real and as personal of a story you could get within a debut single.

Being influenced by a seemingly endless amount of musical genres, he’s taken those lifelong influences and put them into the niche of pop music he’s making today. After performing at Royal Albert Hall at 11 years old, completing a summer festival tour at fests like Latitude, and now planning to release his first EP in the United States on LA-based Socal Records, we can confidently confirm that DANIEL is on the right track.

To be perfectly honest and candid, there’s only one complaint we had about the entirety of our listen, it was too short! When that’s the only complaint though, that’s when you know you’ve got a winning track on your hands. At just a little bit over two minutes in total runtime, the artist has left the listener wanting more and more, which we suppose is probably the best kind of output you could have as a blossoming artist.

The obvious statement from us is about to come out, but basically we want as much of DANIEL as we can get. While it appears that the EP doesn’t have an official release date just yet, we’ll certainly be keeping a close eye on its inevitable release. We’ve got the sneaking suspicion that there’s going to be a lot more personal takes and stellar production that will show themselves. Time will tell, but we’ll be waiting.

Wrapping it all up though, it would definitely be in your best interests to check this single out. Prepare yourself for an overly heartfelt, original, and complex piece of music that will have you feeling moved by the end of the listen. Again, at only around two minutes, it’s impressive in its own right that a musician could accomplish that feat given the time constraint.
