Comprador excels on enthusiastic rock record, "don't worry about it"

Freshly released this past week, Comprador has just shared an outstanding new record that’s titled don’t worry about it. We’re loving it! Please read on for a complete look at the album, in addition to a background on the artist.

Released via Stain Magicks Records, the project of Comprador is primarily a solo studio project by non-binary artist Charlie D'Ardenne. With help on the finishing touches from friends and bandmates, ultimately don’t worry about it has come to be this instrumentally impressive and sensationally immersive album experience that we haven’t been able to stop listening to. Honestly, with every listen we’ve been able to focus on something new. Needless to say, we can’t wait for everyone out there to give this a spin.

What started out as a concept record that embodied the mythological story of Greek inventor Daedalus and his son Icarus has slowly changed form over time. Considering don’t worry about it has been in the works for over two years now, there’s plenty of personal moments and infinite effort that have gone in. Things change over time, especially the meaning behind it all, but we can confidently say that the final product ended up being a total winner. Even putting the message of it all aside for just a moment, there’s so many individual instrumental passages presented here that we wouldn’t know where to start to pick out a potential favorite. What we will say is that the album as a whole is cohesive and begging to be played from start to finish to truly feel it all and take it in.

Featuring overtly emotional vocals from Charlie with a never-ending passion, specific tracks like “Climb the Sky” and “Inventions” had us feeling all sorts of suspense. Without a doubt we’re going to need to go back for additional listens to really breakdown the themes and lyrics, but on the surface, this record straight up rocks through each and every track. Every instrumentalist brought their best and you can virtually guarantee a standout moment every few minutes or so.

Not to spoil much else, but please go ahead and check out this record as soon as possible. We’ve included all the important links below to do just that, plus you can follow along on their social media to keep up with all the latest news.
