COLL returns with an instant classic, "Who's That"
With its official release coming on August 6th, 2021, COLL has made his return with another instant classic in our eyes. Keep reading on for our full review of his latest, “Who’s That”, as well as a background on this emerging artist.
Currently based out of Norwich, COLL is a rapper, producer, and songwriter who is legitimately shaking things up within the Hip Hop scene. While he always offers a high quality production on his music, his newest “Who’s That” is yet another perfect representation of everything he’s doing right not only within his music, but in the genre as well. Without a doubt, we are highly recommending you give it a listen as soon as possible.
Following up his recent release “L8 Nights” which was a massive success, “Who’s That” has become more of a light hearted offering from the artist, yet the consistency has stayed high and the lyrics continue to be filled with wit and stay memorable. As COLL continues to evolve and grow into his sound, we appreciate an evolution like this and a bit of a stray from character in order to explore what else is out there. We have a positive feeling that whatever direction he takes, it’s going to be a positive one.
In the crowded world of Rap and Hip Hop, COLL’s music continues to be the breath of fresh air that we’re always hoping for. He’s keeping things fresh, direct, and succinct within his flow, but relatable enough to grasp a wide audience. There’s a certain genuineness that comes across on “Who’s That” that makes you sympathize and want to learn more about him as an artist and a person, which is why we’re definitely going to be following him and his career with a close eye. This is exactly the type of music we love and the type of artist who’s worth a follow.
