Christine Baird lets her voice shine on debut EP, "Sense Of It All"
Freshly released in March of 2021, Christine Baird has officially shared her lovely and thoughtful debut EP, Sense Of It All. We are loving it! Read along with us for our in-depth analysis into the record, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Representing the music scene of the US West Coast, Christine Baird has officially released her debut EP Sense Of It All, in which we have immediately fallen in love with. Considering she’s been singing and performing from such a young age, this release feels like a culmination of all of her hard work over the years. Having been involved with so many different projects and bands over the years, we’re thrilled she’s stepped out on her own to forge a successful solo career.
Writing original music, performing solo gigs throughout her city, and ultimately finding success as a singer in the wedding band circuit, Christine went on to spend a majority of her 2020 crafting this stellar piece of music in front of you today. Officially out March 5th, this EP features a cunning instrumentation, but without a doubt, the star of the show has to be her angelic vocals.
What she’s managed to do here is mash up music finest’s genres such as country, pop, soul, and rock, and implement her own signature sound into the mix. From start to finish, the context and themes covered are astounding, but ultimately it’s a personal release that comes from the heart. There’s such a massive difference between being part of a band and ultimately being the sole decision maker. It’s a ton of pressure to know that the choices will reflect on your name, however every choice she’s made here is a winning one.
Going back to the vocals here, it’s incredibly difficult to overstate just how impressive they really were. Truly, she could have just sung the ABC’s and we’d have been over the moon about it, but the fact that it’s all meaningful and deliberately placed just makes it that much better. Additionally one of the best parts here is that because it’s an EP, you don’t have to commit too much time if you’re on the fence. She’s taken the best songs she’s created and placed them in a bite size record that all need to get their ears on ASAP.
With all this being said, it should go as no surprise that we’re recommending all the listens to Sense Of It All. While it doesn’t officially release until March 5th, we’ve included the necessary links below to stay up to date. Enjoy!
