Chris Holly delivers memorable vocal performance on single, "Don't"

Ending the year with a killer new single titled “Don’t”, Chris Holly has completely impressed us with this latest output. Please read on for our full review of the track, as well as a background on the artist.

After starting his career on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, involving himself with Hair bands and the Thrash Metal scene, Chris Holly has garnered years of experience in the industry. However nowadays, he’s put those heavy sounds behind him and slowed things down, keeping them quite acoustic. On his latest track “Don’t”, he’s showcased his soulful vocals on top of a stunning instrumentation, so without a doubt, we can’t wait for everyone out there to give it a spin.

It’s alway super interesting when we get to review artists who’ve been making music longer than we’ve been writing, mainly because it drives our urge to dig into their past discography. As much as we want to focus on “Don’t” and how great it is, we’re also partial to the heavier stuff too. Considering he’s shared stages with Better Than Ezra, Slayer, Pantera, and so many more, we bet he’s got some wild stories to share too.

Focusing on “Don’t” though, Chris Holly has graced the existing and soon to be new fans with an end of the year treat that has delivered big. Keeping things fairly classic in tone, but overwhelmingly poignant within his imagery-filled lyricism and divine vocals, we instantly hailed this one as a winner. In the end, it made us feel good and provided a much needed dose of optimism in the demeanor and atmosphere of the song. There’s something extremely soothing about Chris’ vocals and delivery, which is part of the reason we took to this so quickly.

As the year wraps up and a new one is on the horizon, we sincerely can’t wait to see what else is on the way for this talented artist. We know for the absolute fact we’ll have “Don’t” in our listening rotation as its scratches that itch to keep us calm during family and holiday time, but it doesn’t mean we don’t have our sights set on the future too.

At this point though, let us point you in the direction of those important links below where you can not only listen, but follow along for all things on the way. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!
