Released on July 31st, 2020, Ceaser Live Soul has officially shared his smooth new single, “Out of my Head”. Read along with us as we give an in-depth review into what we thought of the track, as well as a bit of background and insight into the artist himself.
Currently based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ceaser Live Soul is an emcee who is crafting beautiful pop and hip hop hybrids that are really making waves within the industry. Inspired by the likes of Nas, Kanye West, and the Black Eyed Peas, Live Soul is very passionate about writing catchy songs that move the listener and are fun to perform live as well. His music has been played on New York’s Z100 and France’s National Radio. He’s always open to collaborate and try new things, Live Soul has his eyes set on building a solid base in the United States and eventually breaking into the European market in the near future. If you like what you hear on “Out of my Head”, which you absolutely will, make sure to reach out to him for a collaboration.
We caught up with Live Soul before this review and he provided us with some insight into how exactly the single represents him. He let us know, “This song is about the moment when you've connected with a beautiful girl and you just can't seem to get her off of your mind. Everything about her knocks you off of your feet and you just have to write a song about it. This song is a collaboration between myself and up and coming music producer, Michael Afanaseiv (Monitor Beats), based in St. Petersburg, Russia. Smooth lyrics, a catchy hook, and a booming beat make this pop single a must add to your favorite playlist.”
The beat on the track was surely impressive, but the overall feel and vibe that Live Soul created was truly something else. As mentioned, the song absolutely went on all of our playlists when we got done listening. We feel as though there would always be a time and place to listen to a calming, yet introspective song like this one.
The opening sequence of guitar picking drew us in immediately, but once Live Soul entered in with his smooth flow, we were sold. I think we’ve all been in a similar situation like the artist here, where we have someone or something on our minds and can’t truly get them out. Listening to the lyrics presented, it was all so relatable. Not only does the single impress us with the way that it sounds, but the overarching story and themes that are presented as well.
As far as genres go, this was a perfect blend of both pop and hip hop. Whether you’re a fan of one or the other, we can pretty much guarantee there’s lots to love on “Out of my Head”. The best thing for you new fans of Ceaser Live Soul is that this song is the first in a series of singles he’ll be releasing on a monthly basis to reintroduce his art to the world. For those who like to get a bit technical, his label is Dinari Records ULTD, and his releases are distributed through Steve Stoute’s United Masters. Keep an eye out for Ceaser Live Soul, because big things are on the way!
