Carley Varley opens up on pop-centric single, "Fall"

Kicking off the year off with an impeccable new single titled “Fall”, Carley Varley’s latest is virtually guaranteed to be stuck in your head for days. Please read on for our full review of the track, as well as a background on the artist.

Heavily inspired by Taylor Swift, but still completely original on its own, Carley Varley’s newest song “Fall” is the definition of an earworm. Taking liberal twists and turns with her dynamic vocals, this song surrounds itself around the subject of “not wanting to fall in love after a summer romance”, but ultimately the story changes towards the end. We suggest you check out this song as soon as humanly possible, you won’t regret it.

Ultimately this pop-centric song gives off the feel-good vibes that any strong showing should give. Instrumentally speaking, it’s definitely on the simplistic side, but for good reason. Any pointless production or gimmicky efforts in order to entice a listener would come off as cheesy in our eyes. There’s a genuineness that flows through here and a freshness in sound that lets us know Carley is in full control. She takes the listeners on an upbeat journey through her personal experiences and almost makes it feel like she’s letting you in on her little secret.

As this was our first introduction to Carley’s music as a whole, we can confidently claim that it won’t be our last. Who doesn’t love a welcoming sound like this that shows she’s not just a great voice, but also a super talented composer who knows the formula to get you to listen again! At just a little over four minutes in total run time, we know for a fact we were singing along with the chorus. “Fall” has an anthemic feel to it that is basically begging to be played in front of a live audience. The energy would be unsurmountable!

All that being said though, don’t waste another moment not listening to this song. We’ve provided all the important links below in order for you to get listening, follow along, and stay tuned for everything else that’s hopefully on the way. Enjoy!
