Brick Blair stuns on his dynamic second single, "On The Zooms"
On just his second overall single titled “On The Zooms”, Brick Blair is already setting himself up for an extremely bright future of music. Please read on for our full review of the track, in addition to a background on this talented artist.
Having been involved in music for a majority of his life, it started out as writing and performing as a teenager, to now putting out extraordinary music with deep meaning. Pivoting his influences from drugs and alcohol to now the want to be understood and loved, we confidently think his newest single “On The Zooms” has the power to do exactly that. Without a doubt, we can’t wait for everyone out there to give this a close and focused listen.
Taking inspiration from Hank Williams, Bruce Springsteen, and many more, Brick has still managed to carve out a unique sound within his music. As mentioned, this is only his second single, but from what we’ve heard he’s definitely making stylistic decisions that can carry him into something bigger. As this was recorded in a bedroom studio in Brooklyn, NY, we can only imagine how much more grand his sound will evolve to be in the coming months and years.
Of course because we enjoyed everything about “On The Zooms”, we had no choice but to check out the debut “Your Device” which of course delivered big. A constant we’re quickly realizing about Brick’s music is that the consistency within his vocals and delivery is our favorite part by far. The instrumentation isn’t groundbreaking, but it doesn’t need to be. The true beauty of it all is coming directly from the artist himself and the passion, love, and emotion within his delivery is what has us sold the most.
“On The Zooms” in our eyes is a clear winner and has us super excited to see what 2022 brings in terms of new releases and stories to follow.
