Blue Fire Horizon return on thrilling new single, "Graveyard of Hope"

Following up their 2020 EP Down With Leviathan, Blue Fire Horizon have reemerged with an absolutely massive new single titled “Graveyard of Hope”. Do yourselves a huge favor and read on for our full analysis of the track, in addition to a background on the band.

Made up of Zachariah Turnage (Lead Vocals), Hunter Chapin (Guitars/Backing Vocals), Rock Arellano (Drums), and Maddy Cornils (Bass), Blue Fire Horizon are a metalcore band that are single handedly changing the groundwork of the genre. While they’re also including bits and glimmers of hard rock, orchestral, and industrial elements, their overall sound is like nothing we’ve ever heard, but in the best way possible. Sincerely, we can’t wait for everyone out there to get their ears on “Graveyard of Hope”.

Slightly reminiscent of Killswitch Engage, Memphis May Fire, and Whitechapel, Blue Fire Horizon are really only comparable to themselves considering their unique brand of sound. We’ll kick things off here by letting you all know that this was our first introduction to the group, however it will certainly not be our last. They’ve legitimately left us with our jaws on the floor after listening to their newest track on full volume. With so many impressive elements of sound, a vocal delivery for the ages, and a diverse instrumentation that kept us guessing from the opening notes, we can confidently state that “Graveyard of Hope” is a true winner.

At just a tad over five minutes in run time, we felt that this was a perfect first track to enter into the discovery phase of Blue Fire Horizon. We’ll definitely be checking out the rest of their discography, but they’ve lured us in with this master class of a song and have created fans for life. What you’re going to experience is a relentless wall of sound that challenges the listener in a truly complex fashion. We’re quite familiar with all the influences and genre as a whole, so hearing a fresh take on it all was quite the rewarding feeling.

Seriously though, the song is not for the faint of heart, and for those who find that this style of music isn’t their “cup of tea”, this is a great introduction to a possibly unknown world. We’ve made it easier than ever to get into this song, because all the important links can be found below. Enjoy!
