Black Note Graffiti open up on Double EP release, "Volume III Rise/Fall" - Interview

Currently on a festival tour, but nice enough to take the time out of their busy schedules and speak with us, is Black Note Graffiti who gave us all the finer details on their latest double EP release. Watch our full interview below.

For those who happen to be out of the loop, Black Note Graffiti are made up of Gabrielle Bryant (vocals/keys), Kris Keller (guitar/vocals), Kurt Keller (drums), Ricardo Ortiz (vocals/guitar) and Adam Nine (bass). Together they’ve just released a massive dose of rock and roll on their double EP, Volume III Rise/Fall. Luckily for us, we got all the behind the scenes details on how exactly the records came about.

Produced by Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Tantric) at Pearl Sound Studios, there isn’t a single underwhelming moment on these records from start to finish. While we obviously would love for you to take the time out of your day and check out our interview with the band, the biggest priority here is to check out their music as it is jam packed with seemingly endless amounts of musical highs. Even better for the vinyl collectors out there, the band currently has a limited edition vinyl for these EP’s that can be purchased below.

Kris Keller explains why he wanted to do vinyl, "I absolutely love vinyl. I have collected it for years and the experience of spinning records is like nothing else. I think vinyl has become essential for a band's merchandise, because it connects you with your fans in a different way. To actually hold the record, read the liner notes and have art connected to the music is an amazing experience."

As for the music itself, for us, there wasn’t a specific single that stood out the most, rather it all flowed flawlessly from start to finish. Instead of mindlessly skipping around from single to single, we highly recommend starting with Rise and finishing it with Fall to get the full and complete story from Black Note Graffiti. If you love it, which we know you will, the band is actively touring and in the middle of a festival circuit at the moment. We definitely recommend following them on their social media to see if they’re coming to a city near you! You’re definitely not going to want to miss this band live, but for now, check out their music.
