Bentley Robles & Gregory Dillon join forces on emphatic single, "don't listen to this song"

Joining forces for a cavalcade of sound and style, Bentley Robles and Gregory Dillon have come out hot with a new track, “don’t listen to this song”. Please keep reading for a closer look into the single, as well as a much needed background on these artists.

Now both currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, Bentley Robles and Gregory Dilon have teamed up to ultimately voice their frustrations about a recent break up on their song, “don’t listen to this song”. Now of course we’d advise you to do the complete opposite of that, mainly because this single is exactly what punk rock and pop are doing correctly right now. From beginning to end, you’re hit with waves of emotion and explicit lyricism detailing the incident and situation. Plain and simple, we love it, and we think you will too once you hit the play button.

As both of these talented musicians have been making a name for themselves in their respective genre, it’s honestly thrilling to see their names together on a song that holds itself to such a high standard. On the background of it all as mentioned, “don’t listen to this song” looks inward on the “crazy ex trope”, but in a way that holds nothing back whatsoever. In our opinion, it’s one of the main drivers for our love for this song, you don’t need to think too hard to connect the dots within the words. We suppose that’s the punk of it all, but there’s nothing like shouting out “you’re so fucking stupid” to really hone in on the experience.

Our only real “complaint” so to speak is the runtime on this song, coming in at only two minutes. By the end you’re hoping it’ll be extended, but that just means it’s primed for repeated listens. In typical punk rock fashion, most tracks like these are quick to the point, absolutely filled to the brim with emotion and drama. That fact has stayed true and is easily another highlight on why it’s so gripping from the get go. You’re hit with emphatic vocals, a crisp production, and a wall of sound via the instrumentation. There’s so much to love here and we hope you take the time to listen!
