Bennett returns quickly on yet another stunning single, "Lightning"
Proving yet again his high output and consistent releases, Bennett is back with an all new track titled “Lightning” that we are loving. Read on for our full review of the track, as well as refresher on this talented artist.
It’s been a matter of a couple weeks since Bennett’s last release, “Boy Into A King”, but thankfully for all the old and new fans out there, he’s got another fantastic single out called “Lightning”. Slowing things down a bit and getting into his feels, this lyrically driven yet jammed out song is just another reason why we’ve on the Bennett bandwagon.
His skills are showing as clear as day here on the near four minute single in which he’s changed things up just a tad since his last showing on “Boy Into A King”. While that track was our first introduction into the artist, we’re just happy we got in when we did, because quick releases that have managed to stay consistent in quality are just the type of artists and musicians we like.
As well produced as anything else he’s made so far, there weren’t ever any doubts that this was going to be a flop. While we don’t know him personally, there’s just no way that something that has been personal to the artist or created would ever be allowed to see the light of day if it wasn’t a banger. We may have mentioned it before, but again we’d love to hear a cohesive grouping of tracks in the form of an EP or album, to really hear the full story from start to finish. In this case though, we’re still more than happy to get isolated singles from moments in his life.
The real priority here is to get listening and check out the back catalog, which definitely means “Lightning” wouldn’t be a bad place to start at all. We have a feeling you’re going to love what you hear, so you might as well check everything out as well, you won’t be disappointed. Overall though, and not too sound cliche, but Bennett really has struck lightning once again on this newest track. Congrats to him!
