BEKIMACHINE creates new reality on stunning single, "Crescent"

For this synth-pop musician hailing from London, BEKIMACHINE has stopped at nothing to create emotionally moving and upbeat danceable music. From her powerful vocals to the inventive melodies within the instrumentation, everything we’ve heard from her thus far has been gold. Her newest single “Crescent” has followed that same route of perfection and we sincerely can’t wait for everyone to get listening to this song as soon as possible.
Showcasing BEKIMACHINE’s impeccably unique electronic style and infusing a large dose of 80’s inspired synthesizers, the artist is singlehandedly transporting all listeners into a new dimension of sound. As the artist prepares her upcoming debut album (set for release early next year), this is the third single to be released in preparation for it. While we’ve enjoyed the previous two singles leading up to “Crescent”, we found something super special about this one that has our hype levels for the album at an all time high.
There’s actually a music video accompanying this single, and we’ll make sure to update the article as soon as it goes live, but we can only imagine what she’s thought of for visuals. A little teaser that we received is that it’s set in a virtual cyberpunk city, combined with dark fantasy. It’s surely left a lot to the imagination, which is why we’re so excited to see the final product!
Being influenced by some of the current greats like Purity Ring and Grimes is obvious in her sound, but what we’ve enjoyed so much about exploring her discography is how she’s taken those inspirations and made something completely of her own. There’s so much depth and complexity to her music, especially with a nice pair of headphones to hear those subtleties, so that’s our real recommendation as you dig into the song.
