ARREIS' delivers a powerhouse performance on heavy single, "Straight to Hell"

Absolutely jam packed with emotion and suspense, ARREIS has crushed it with the fresh release of her latest single, “Straight to Hell”. Do yourselves a huge favor and keep reading for an in-depth look into the track, in addition to a background on this emerging artist.

Serving as her second single release of the year, ARREIS has continued to find her niche within the dark pop genre on her latest musical endeavor, “Straight to Hell”. Filled to the brim with crunchy instrumentation, a rich production, and her powerful vocals acting as the cherry on top, this song does its own thing in blurring the lines of genre and style. If this so happens to be your introduction to this artist, you’ve found her at the perfect time, so please don’t miss it.

Spending most of her life surrounded by music in some capacity has ultimately led to ARREIS crafting together an original discography of her own. Now based out of Nashville with major plans of new releases coming very soon, one of which being a concept record titled Vices, we’re completely thrilled with what we’ve heard so far. She classifies herself as dark pop, but after listening through her music in full, we’ve come to the conclusion that it’s entirely a vibe of its own. Specifically on “Straight to Hell”, you’re immediately hit with that modern rock instrumentation that feels heavy and attitude forward, until her vocals enter the mix and somehow elevate it to another realm of amazing.

Her music is created under the guise of “synesthesia”, the act of hearing or seeing colors related to specific senses. This song and upcoming album are formed around the color “red”, which honestly aligns with the feeling that this song gave us. Through its three and a half minute runtime, it’s truly a powerhouse performance in every sense of the word and tone. We came away from our initial listen jotting down multiple highlights, but it should almost go without saying that ARREIS’ voice was the main takeaway. It acts as another layer to an already complex composition, adding in context through her words and well timed deliveries. While there’s plenty of secret sauce happening in the inner workings of the mix, the vocals are far and away where she had our focus.

While we patiently wait for more music coming soon, please go ahead and check out those links below to listen, follow along, and of course to stay tuned for more major news.
