What an absolute treat! After months of covering her, we finally got Amanda Marie Wilkinson in for an interview in which we spoke all about her latest single, “Taking My Time”. Please watch our full talk below.
For those unaware, Amanda Marie Wilkinson is a singer and songwriter from Houston, Texas. She stays incredibly busy while using her platform, Unity with Community, and extending her branches in entertainment from film to songwriting. After having released her first two singles, we think her third may just be her best. Our latest interview with the artist was wonderful.
You know you’re getting into an Amanda Marie Wilkinson song when nearly immediately, her vocals take over and perplex you as a listener. Bringing a whole mess of compelling lyrics to the table, she’s widened her depth as a talented artist here and continued to impress. It’s just beyond impressive at this point, but you can audibly hear the production differences between each release and a further improvement from one to the other.
