Alexa Laine provides the origin story of 2nd single, "Miss Me" - Interview
On just her second ever single titled “miss me”, Alexa Laine is turning heads and making waves within the music scene. That’s exactly the reason we brought her on for an in-depth interview to talk all about it! Check it out below.
Currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia, Alexa Laine is an indie pop artist that’s truly taken us by storm with her newest song, “miss me”. Taking the listener on an atmospheric ride flushed with dreamy synthesizer melodies, wavy beats, and emotions running at a high, Alexa has shown her best musical abilities wrapped up in one track. Getting to speak with her on the background of the song and everything else was an absolute joy as well, you’re not going to want to miss this one.
Following up her debut single “mr. maybe”, her fan base immediately began to grow, which we’re not surprised with, mainly because her music is breaking the mold of the mainstream and aims to be as emotionally powerful as possible. There’s a certain pureness that Alexa is showing within her lyricism that lets old and new listeners into her world. The vulnerability shown and traumas relived aren’t easy to talk about, but the artistry and musicianship she’s displaying are worth it in our eyes.
Now of course the music is amazing and we recommend you check it out, however getting to hear from Alexa herself was all good times. All good music deserves a background and the intricate stories and provided background she gave us was much needed to really expand the depths of it at all. Music aside, Alexa was just a seriously super cool person to speak with and it’s a musical career we can’t wait to watch blossom in the coming months and years too. It sounds like a lot is on the horizon for 2022, so it’s in your best interest to stay updated.
