Alex Dennis scores big on new diverse single, "Prisoners"
Somehow stepping up again and delivering another magnificent track, Alex Dennis has made his quick return with his latest, “Prisoners”. We are loving it! Read on for our full in-depth look at the single, as well as a refresher on this artist.
Following up his last single “No Secrets” in a relatively quick fashion, Alex Dennis’ latest musical beauty is called “Prisoners” and has completely wowed us. Incorporating so many different genre influences, but ultimately centering the song around his always eclectic vocals, we sincerely feel that all around going to instantly fall in love here. It would be in your best interest to give this song a listen ASAP.
For those out of the loop on this Milton Keynes-based singer and songwriter, Alex Dennis has always been musically inspired and inclined. Sharing his 2021 EP Robotland and gearing up for another big release in the coming months just means that now is the ideal time to hop on the bandwagon. Alex Dennis’ stock is rising and all the music he’s made so far can seriously back up that claim.
Speaking on “Prisoners” directly, the song comes in at just a tad over four minutes in which Alex has incorporated a diverse use of instrumentation focusing on a more lighthearted feel in overall tone. While we always recommend making the connections within the artist’s lyricism, the song itself lends itself to a positive and uplifting vibe and atmosphere. The use of synthesizers in the background gave it that much needed vintage feel of course, but we can’t stress it enough, the way that Alex has utilized his vast range of vocals will always be the most impressive thing.
We thoroughly enjoyed “No Secrets”, however “Prisoners” has swiftly found a special place in our hearts. As his next EP begins to take shape with these lovely isolated single releases, the hype continues to build and build. Without a doubt though, this is an artist and a song that you’d be a fool not to get listening to. All lovers of music across the spectrum of sound can find something to enjoy here, it’s just that good.
