Now for those who are unfamiliar with the work of Don’t Stop Or We’ll Die, what massive rock have you been living under? The self-proclaimed Los Angeles based piano-pop-weirdo group have been churning out catchy tunes since the early 2010’s, so you’ve got plenty of music to catch up on in the meantime. Originally made up of Paul Rust, Michael Cassady, and Harris Wittels, the band has brought on super musicians, Emeen Zarookian and Tony Thaxton to help sharpen up the final sound.
Speaking directly on the podcast though, every week the band will be releasing a brand new original song for free everywhere podcasts are available. Songs are available as mp3 downloads on their Patreon page, where listeners can also get access to special bonus episodes of the podcast, listen to episodes ad-free. Additionally, subscribers to the Patreon can even have their names sung by the band on the podcast! Uhh, who wouldn’t want that!?
In addition to our conversation surrounding the upcoming podcast, we also dove deep into conversation surrounding what they’ve been up to during quarantine times, some exciting stories from their touring days, and the origin story of Paul and Michael’s 20+ year friendship. Needless to say, laughs were had, but we’d much prefer for you to watch for yourself!
With this all being said, Don’t Stop Or We’ll Die is the next band you need to have on your listening radar. Might as well start with a subscription to their Podcast and Patreon, it’s where you’ll get to know these guys the best.
