Project Pabst Returns to Portland with a Stacked 2025 Lineup
After reclaiming its place as a summer festival staple in 2024, Project Pabst is set to make an even bigger splash in 2025. The beloved music festival, brought to life by Pabst Blue Ribbon and independent promoter True West, returns to Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon, on July 26 and 27. Known for its fan-friendly experience and deep connection to the Pacific Northwest’s vibrant culture, Project Pabst continues to celebrate music, art, and community with a stacked lineup featuring legendary icons, cult favorites, and rising stars.
The 2025 edition delivers an electrifying mix of punk, new wave, indie rock, and experimental sounds. Headlining the festival are punk and new wave trailblazers Iggy Pop and Devo, alongside UK punk legends The Damned and Australia’s rowdy pub-punk champions The Chats. The lineup further expands with the genre-defying energy of Mannequin Pussy, Portland’s own power-pop heroes The Exploding Hearts, and a dynamic mix of underground standouts including Gustaf, Gouge Away, and local favorites Nasalrod.
The second day of Project Pabst shifts gears with a mesmerizing lineup of indie rock and avant-garde soundscapes. Fans will be treated to the nostalgic brilliance of Death Cab for Cutie and the ethereal dream pop of Japanese Breakfast, two acts with deep Northwest ties. The billing continues with cult-favorite rockers Built to Spill and the long-awaited return of Cap’n Jazz. Exciting additions like Wednesday, Say She She, Sam Austins, and Dustbunny ensure a diverse and unforgettable weekend of music.
Beyond the stellar lineup, Project Pabst remains a beacon of creativity, championing immersive art installations, local vendors, and the best of the Pacific Northwest’s food scene. True to its roots, the festival continues Pabst Blue Ribbon’s long-standing commitment to independent creators and DIY culture, bringing together artists, musicians, and fans for a truly unforgettable weekend in Portland. Whether you’re a longtime festival-goer or a first-time attendee, Project Pabst 2025 promises an immersive and exhilarating celebration of music, community, and artistic expression.
