Do LaB at Coachella 2025: A Wild, High-Energy Playground of Surprise and Spectacle

If there’s one place at Coachella where anything can — and will — happen, it’s the Do LaB stage. Known for its kaleidoscopic structures, immersive vibe, and some of the festival’s most unpredictable lineups, this year’s Do LaB experience once again proved why it’s an unmissable corner of the Empire Polo Fields.

Friday, April 19 kicked off with a bang when house music legend Claude VonStroke made his long-awaited return, delivering the weekend’s first surprise set and setting the tone for the days ahead. As the night heated up, the stage transformed into a celebration of Afro-house grooves with West African powerhouse AMÉMÉ going back-to-back with the effortlessly cool twin sister duo Coco & Breezy, closing the night with undeniable flair.

But perhaps the most unexpected and delightfully bizarre moment of the night came when the Yo Gabba Gabba! crew stormed the stage during UK house phenom Riordan’s set. Yes — you read that right. The toy monster crew turned the Do LaB into a neon-lit playground, dancing alongside ravers and performers alike, making for a surreal and unforgettable festival moment.

Day one also saw an electric mix of previously announced talent including Hybrid Minds, Max Styler, nimino, Conducta, Villager, Carola, J.Phlip, and Patricio, each bringing their own flavor of high-energy sonic magic to the desert.

Saturday and Sunday kept the momentum going with an eclectic slate of acts and surprise guests that only the Do LaB could pull off. Sammy Virji & Friends took over one of the surprise slots with a stacked collective of UKG underground icons like salute, Interplanetary Criminal, Oppidan, and Conducta, turning the stage into a euphoric, bass-heavy UK garage party.

Legendary DJ, producer, and rapper D-Nice headlined a surprise set that packed the tent, serving feel-good energy and dance floor anthems to a crowd that didn’t stop moving.

The stage’s unique vibe hit new highs on Sunday as visionary TOKiMONSTA returned for the first time in a decade, delivering one of the weekend’s most hyped and nostalgic sets. Closing out the Do LaB’s wild weekend was Mau P, the Dutch prodigy whose surprise final set was a masterclass in house and techno euphoria.

Other standout performances over the weekend included Snakehips B2B What So Not, Le Youth, Tycho (DJ Set), Mahmut Orhan, Pretty Girl (DJ Set), Kitty Ca$h, Paperwater, and Bigger Than Us, each leaving their stamp on the ever-evolving, immersive world of the Do LaB.

In true Do LaB fashion, the entire weekend was a nonstop spectacle of color, energy, and unexpected magic. The crowds showed up in full force, the vibes were unmatched, and every set felt like a discovery — whether it was a legend making a return, a buzzy newcomer leveling up, or a crew of toy monsters crashing the party. As always, the Do LaB reminded everyone why it remains one of the most essential stops on the Coachella map.
