Desert Daze Triumphantly Returns With Stellar Lineup; The War On Drugs, Kamasi Washington, Toro y Moi, and More!

Festival goers may finally rejoice, one of our favorite music festivals of all time has returned with an absolutely stellar lineup! Please read on for our full pre-festival coverage surrounding everything you need to know about Desert Daze 2021.

What we thought were only going to be isolated shows spread around Los Angeles has immaculately turned into a full weekend worth of festivities. Everyone please prepare yourselves for the jam packed lineup that is Desert Daze 2021. Featuring headliners The War on Drugs, Kamasi Washington, Toro y Moi, Japanese Breakfast, and so many more, we’re thrilled to the max for this year’s event.

Coming back to Lake Perris for another iteration, festival goers from all over the world can expect one of the most eclectic and truly unique festivals that the musical world has to offer. In addition to the killer headliners, expect performances from Devendra Banhart, Andy Shauf, Tim Heidecker & Weyes Blood, Crumb, Yves Tumor, Ty Segall, The Black Angels, DIIV, Kikagaku Moyo, The Budos Band, Moon Duo, Sudan Archives, Deap Vally, La Luz, Sasami, Crack Cloud, SPELLLING, Pachyman, JJUUJUU and Geese, with stage projections from Mad Alchemy.

Now while things aren’t going to be exactly the same as year’s past, it’s still going to have the same aura to it. The event organizers have slightly scaled down attendance and will keep things socially distanced and outdoors. A less packed Desert Daze sounds like a dream, but we suppose that means you’ll have to hop on buying tickets as soon as you can.

Even better, Desert Daze & Moon Block founder, curator and JJUUJJUU frontman Phil Pirrone provided a statement regarding the festival’s return in which he said, “It’s been a long year+ away from the Desert Daze community and we are really excited about seeing the people that make this event so special, and seeing this beautiful, multi-faceted lineup at the lake”. We’re right there with you Phil, believe us, this is an event we’ve been anxiously crossing our fingers to come back more than anything else.

While we’re sure there will be more information set to come in the following weeks, there is some important information surrounding ticketing here. Tickets, parking and camping passes will be on sale Friday, July 23 at 10am PT and start at $75 for single day tickets, and $225 for 3-Show passes with payment plans available for 3-Show passes only. Desert Daze capacity will be limited this year to accommodate for safety measures, and fans are encouraged to purchase passes early as the weekend is expected to sell out quickly.

Once again, and we cannot stress this enough, if you happen to have come across this article, do not skip out on attending one of the best events of the year! For ticketing and additional information on Desert Daze 2021, visit: https://desertdaze.org.
