CRSSD Festival Spring 2024: A Genre-Spanning Celebration of Electronic Music in San Diego
Dating all the way back to 2015, CRSSD Festival has emerged as a beacon for the global electronic music community, offering a unique enclave in the sun-soaked aesthetic of Southern California. Returning to its home at Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego on March 2-3, CRSSD once again promises an electrifying lineup that spans genres and eras of electronic music.
During the day, CRSSD takes over the lush, bayside Waterfront Park, providing the perfect setting for attendees to immerse themselves in the vibrant sounds of electronic music. As night falls, the festival's after-party series, CRSSD After Dark, transforms clubs, venues, and converted spaces throughout the city into dance music havens.
At the heart of CRSSD's appeal is its thoughtful curation, making it the ultimate destination festival for dance music aficionados. The Spring 2024 lineup is no exception, offering a diverse array of artists across multiple stages.
Headlining the Ocean View stage are the Italian melodic duo Tale Of Us, known not only for their captivating music but also for their stunning visual artistry. They're joined by South Africa's Black Coffee, genre-fluid live act WhoMadeWho, eclectic duo Red Axes, Austrian trip-hop pioneers Kruder & Dorfmeister, hip-hop and soul influenced producer SANGO, and globally renowned Swedish electronic band Little Dragon.
The Palms stage is a haven for house music and non-stop party vibes. House legend Armand Van Helden and Brazilian virtuoso Mochakk lead the charge, alongside Astra Club, Dixon, Sammy Virji, East End Dubs, Toman, and Sofia Kourtesis.
Techno takes center stage at the City Steps stage, showcasing a mix of storied figures and rising stars. French stalwart TRYM, electronic pioneer Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Joris Voorn, and a blistering B2B session from Héctor Oaks and Tiga round out the lineup.
In addition to the stellar music, CRSSD Festival offers attendees a curated experience that extends beyond the music. From handpicked food vendors to immersive decor and interactive programming at the CRSSD Lab music-tech lounge and vinyl market, CRSSD promises to be the quintessential electronic music journey in one of the West Coast's most beautiful urban centers.
