Vacations & Last Dinosaurs Co-Headline a Massive Show in Salt Lake City

The co-headliners took over The Depot in Salt Lake City, UT not only with their music but the way they were able to connect and interact with their audience. Initially, before the artists came on stage, there was a split screen of the DVD symbol bouncing from side to side, finishing with a final fit in the corner followed by the artists coming on stage.

By the end of the night, the venue was all barking at the performers when something good happened or they were excited for something throughout the night. This trend started a couple songs into The Vacations set.

The venue was packed throughout the night even though there was a shifting of audience members in between sets. Something I was not expecting during the show was for individuals to form a circle in the middle of the already sardine packed audience to push and throw people around, making the circle bigger and bigger.

Other members of the crowd were visibly upset and annoyed at this disturbance and nothing was done to combat this event. I was surprised that a moshpit did not start until the second to last song of The Vacations setlist.

The Last Dinosaurs came out in full suits to kick off the last half of the night, mosh pit continuing til the show ended. To say the least, it was an impeccable show and we fully urge everyone out there to check out our photo gallery below to get a glimpse of what you may have missed. Enjoy!
