LA Fire Benefit Brings Out Weird Al Yankovic, Will Forte, Rachel Bloom, & More

Los Angeles came together in a spectacular and heartfelt night of entertainment at the Lodge Room in Highland Park, as Ken Marino and David Wain’s Middle Aged Dad Band hosted an unforgettable Wildfire Benefit. With 100% of proceeds going to the United Way of Greater Los Angeles Wildfire Response Fund, Pasadena Community Foundation, and Eaton Fire Relief and Recovery Fund, the night was a powerful reminder of the strength of community through music, comedy, and generosity.

The event featured a dazzling lineup of musicians and comedians, including the legendary "Weird Al" Yankovic, Rachel Bloom, Taran Killam, Lisa Gilroy, Jackie Tohn, Thomas Lennon, Michaela Watkins, Joe Lo Truglio, Moshe Kasher, Jeff Ross, Randall Park, Will Forte, Malin Akerman, and more.

The Middle Aged Dad Band delivered three electrifying sets packed with cover songs from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, taking the audience on a nostalgic, high-energy ride through some of music’s most beloved eras. The performances were fun, loose, and full of personality, capturing the spirit of why live music matters in times of crisis.

Between the music, the audience was treated to two stand-up comedy sets, with Jeff Ross and Moshe Kasher bringing their signature humor to the stage. Their sets kept the energy high, blending sharp wit and lighthearted fun with an important underlying message—giving back matters.

Throughout the night, the generosity of the audience was on full display. Attendees enthusiastically donated to the wildfire relief efforts, ensuring that funds would go directly to those affected. The Lodge Room was alive with a sense of unity, proving that when art and charity come together, incredible things can happen.

From classic rock singalongs to gut-busting comedy, the Wildfire Benefit at the Lodge Room was more than just a show—it was a powerful statement of support for those in need. The event proved that in times of crisis, the arts can serve as both a refuge and a rallying cry.

With unforgettable performances, endless laughter, and a community-driven purpose, this benefit was a true success, reinforcing that music, comedy, and generosity can make a real difference.
