Del Water Gap Wraps Up Massive Tour at LA's Fonda Theatre

Del Water Gap's I Miss You Already + I Haven't Left Yet Tour reached its grand finale at The Fonda in Hollywood, California on November 17, concluding a remarkable journey of 34 shows. The anticipation was palpable as the venue, completely sold out, buzzed with excitement well before the first note echoed through the air.

Kicking off the evening with the dynamic track "NFU," Del Water Gap, led by the talented Holden Jaffe, set the tone for an unforgettable night. Jaffe's infectious enthusiasm was evident as he traversed the stage, running across to both sides. The performance featured lots of songs from his latest album, I Miss You Already + I Haven't Left Yet, an intimate exploration of indie pop that delves into complex themes such as love, loss, sobriety, depression, and profound existential doubt. Despite the weighty subject matter, his songs maintain an upbeat tone and rhythm, skillfully balancing seriousness with buoyancy.

Holden Jaffe's on-stage persona was nothing short of captivating, showcasing a blend of dance, impressive vocals, and boundless energy. His ability to command the audience's attention ensured a night of continuous entertainment. Highlights of the night included the special one-night addition of "Still Alone" to the setlist and Jaffe's descent into the crowd, jumping amidst the audience during the performance of "Perfume." Overall, the show was a delightful journey filled with memorable highlights, making it a fitting conclusion to the tour.
