Conan Gray Illuminates the Stage at MGM Music Hall at Fenway

On the sold-out second night of his stop in Boston for the Found Heaven tour, Conan Gray illuminated MGM Fenway with unbelievable energy. Even before doors opened, fans lined up around the block, brimming with excitement despite the rain, eager to witness his highly anticipated performance.

The night kicked off with English singer-songwriter Maisie Peters, who set the tone with a vibrant set featuring songs from her latest album, The Good Witch. Her performance of Noah Kahan’s "Stick Season" particularly resonated with the New England crowd, creating a memorable moment. Throughout her set, Maisie’s bubbly personality and genuine charm won over the audience, who sang along enthusiastically, especially during her closing number, “Lost the Breakup”.

Finally it came time for Conan to take the stage. The atmosphere electrified as the curtain dramatically dropped, revealing him standing on a platform backlit by a glowing star. Clad in a striking yellow-and-black leather ensemble, Conan made an unforgettable entrance. From the first song to the last, his magnetic stage presence was undeniable. He danced energetically across the stage, engaging with the audience and keeping spirits high. His humor was a highlight, particularly when he joked about his early Boston performances, reminiscing about how no Harvard students showed up to his first show, but now they were taking breaks from their study schedules to attend.

Conan also took a vulnerable moment to reflect on a time when he didn’t believe life would improve, expressing gratitude for the friends, music, and touring that had changed his world. The emotional balance of his set, mixing humor with heartfelt reflection, showcased the range of Conan’s music. He closed the show with “Alley Rose”, a vibrant disco-pop track from Found Heaven, leaving the crowd buzzing.

Overall, Conan Gray’s performance was a masterclass in entertainment, with his signature blend of wit, warmth, and high-energy showmanship making the night an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.
