Bebe Rexha Delivers a Night of Pop Brilliance at NYC's Pier 17

Right on the water in New York City at Pier 17, Bebe Rexha threw down one of the most energetic and downright fun shows we’ve experienced so far this year. We were there front and center to experience the evening, so please check out our full review, and extensive photo gallery displayed below.

For those potentially unaware, Bebe Rexha is the quintessential pop star - from the outfit to the moves to the vocals to the adoring fans. Bebe reminds you exactly how talented she is - singing songs she wrote (that also just so happen to be hit songs on the radio) with vocals that sound exactly like they do on the radio. Just across the river from where she grew up, it felt more like a Friday night than a Sunday night at Pier 17.

Zolita and Enisa opened the sold out show, then Bebe played hit after hit including Take Me Home and Hey Mama. Fans were very involved in the night - 2 got to come onstage for a dance off (spoiler alert they both won the prize) and another came up during the acoustic version and sang I’m Gonna Show You Crazy.

The best part of the night was the encore. She came out to sing I’m Good, sang the first chorus then stopped and told everyone to put away their phones. Not in an admonishing way, but in a “you got your videos, now let’s just have fun” way. The crowd listened and the rest of the encore turned into a big dance party where everyone could enjoy themselves without trying to get the perfect video for social media. The show did end on a sour note when Bebe got hit in the face with a cell phone when exiting the stage. She ended up needing stitches and the person who threw the phone was arrested.

According to Bebe this was the best night of the tour, but you can see for yourself if she can top NYC at one of her remaining stops in the US. We highly recommend checking out the links below in order to listen, follow along, and of course to stay tuned for so much more in the works. Enjoy!
