Amulets Hypnotizes the Audience at Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium

Kicking off the night at one of Los Angeles’ best venues, the Hollywood Palladium, Amulets took the stage and immediately set the tone with his imaginative, expressive, and downright gripping music. We were there to recount the evening, so please enjoy our full review and photo gallery below.

For those potentially out of the loop, Amulets is the solo project of Portland-based audio and visual artist, Randall Taylor. Currently opening up for Unknown Mortal Orchestra on their US tour, it was 100% a beautiful precursor to the rest of the night. To begin, Amulets' show at the Hollywood Palladium was a breathtaking experience that left the audience in awe. His signature drone and ambient soundscapes filled the venue, captivating the audience from start to finish.

The atmosphere was electric as Randall took to the stage, with the audience eagerly anticipating the unique sounds that only Amulets could produce. From beginning to end, our ears were buzzing with the energy that the performance created; a palpable buzz throughout the massive event space, and the audience was ecstatic to witness the greatness.

The setlist was a carefully curated mix of his most beloved tracks, each one delivered with precision and passion. The mesmerizing sounds of the ambient music created an immersive experience that transported the audience to another world, leaving them lost in the beauty of the soundscapes. The musicianship displayed by Randall Taylor was outstanding, as they expertly crafted each sonic layer to create a rich and textured sound that resonated wonderfully. The audience was transfixed, swaying to the hypnotic beats, and losing themselves in the ethereal melodies. Eventually coming to a euphoric and incredibly loud climax, 45 minutes zoomed right by as we stood there clapping and hollering for more at the end.

In conclusion, Amulets' show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California was a stunning display of his unique sound and remarkable talent. The high energy performance, along with the immersive drone and ambient music, made for an unforgettable experience that left the audience yearning for more.
