Stefano Pesapane shares awe-inspiring instrumental, titled "Never Say Goodbye"
Review by Austin Sher
Shared officially on October 28th, 2020, Stefano Pesapane has debuted yet another fantastic single, titled “Never Say Goodbye”. Please read along with us as we share our thoughts on the song, as well as a background and insight on the artist himself.
Stefano was born in Latina, Italy, in which he started playing the drums at the age of 8. Quickly moving up within the ranks of music, at the age of 16 he was already playing in nightclubs. Attending the St. Louis Music School in Rome is where he got most of his formal training, but it wasn’t until 1988 that he was issued a Certificate of Completion by the Berklee College of Music at Umbria Jazz.
Since the 1980’s, he’s had multiple professional experiences in which he’s worked with bands such as The Nightworkers, Sonny Costanzo, Tony Scott, and many others. After that though, he pivoted a tad into music production and has been being creating tracks for himself. Now, as of January 2020, he’s officially signed onto Bentley Records and is crafting new tunes on a regular basis.
With the release of “Never Say Goodbye”, it so perfectly encapsulates everything that is perfect and beautiful about purely instrumental music. In the song specifically, Stefano gets to show off not only his compositional skills, but also his music production skills that he’s built up over the years. Featuring a wide array of instruments such as guitar, horns section, keyboards, and so many more, there’s absolutely something to love for all types of music lovers on this track.
“Never Say Goodbye” appears to be the fifth released single from Stefano so far in 2020. So by the looks of it, he’s been keeping quite busy while locked down. Although times are tough, we’re always thrilled to see that artists can still be creative and make music. Home studios are built, instruments are still played, and beautiful music is still shared with the world. Now after following up his 2019 record, Miles Away, we truly hope to see another full record of songs just like these. They’re soft, soothing, and heartwarming type instrumentals that we need more of in our lives.
So with that, we truly hope that you take the 5 minutes out of your day to give a listen. It’s perfect music to have on in the background, or to listen closely too. Either way, it’s highly enjoyable and extremely recommended by us at We Write About Music.
