Putting together one of the most genre diverse records we’ve experienced in quite some time, Haydel Brüder have ultimately crushed it on their album, Anteeson. Do yourselves a favor and read on as we share our full thoughts, in addition to a background on the band.

Self-described as a German Copper-Rock Band, Haydel Brüder currently resides in Pomona, California where they continue to diversify and expand their already eclectic sound. Creating music that embodies Metal, Pop, Folk, and beyond, they’ve simply infused it all on their newest record Anteeson in which we’ve quickly come to love. Just in case this is your introduction to their project, please take our word for it, this is both a band and an album we’re urging everyone to enjoy.

Coming in at a total of 11 tracks that run right around 50 minutes, Haydel Brüder wastes no time whatsoever immediately immersing the listener into their highly specific sound. Though there’s no preparation for what’s about to hit your ears, we came out of our initial runthrough absolutely coursing with energy and power. With influences like Ozzy Osbourne, Rammstein, Frank Zappa, and so many more, you truly do get a mini dose of everything, however the band has still managed to completely diversify themselves and create something new. Each of their records are concepts, so you’re never getting the same thing twice, yet we can confidently claim that they fully leaned into the heavy atmosphere and rhythms on Anteeson.

While there are seemingly infinite moments that standout as highlights, it’s hard to deny that the vocals don’t rise to the top. Setting the tone right from the opener, there’s an unfounded grit that oozes from each and every one of these tracks. Of course the instrumentation and constant experimentation are winners as well, the more we’ve listened, the more we’ve found this to be an immensely well rounded and complete album. Given it’s a “concept”, that’s usually the end goal, yet so many groups out there fail to hit the mark. In this case, Haydel Brüder really has gone above and beyond in articulating a vibe here that has staying power for the long haul.

Not to spoil much else, but we obviously recommend everyone out there take the time and give this a front to back listen. You can do so by clicking the links below to enjoy, follow along, and of course to stay tuned for all upcoming news.
