Colin Bussiere strikes back on a long form single, "Psalmoi"

Debuted to the world on December 4th, 2020, we are beyond thrilled because Colin Bussiere is back with another hit single, “Psalmoi”. Do yourselves a favor and read on for our review of the track, as well as a refresher on this blossom artist.
Following up his most recent release, “Closer”, which we thoroughly enjoyed reviewing, Colin Bussiere has just unleashed another thoughtful, yet spiritual new song. According to Colin, “It was about writing from my heart and expressing love through music. Psalmoi means "instrumental music" and by extension "the words accompanying the music". So for me, this song is instrumental music and if you listen and feel the music, the music speaks back to you through the energy and vibrations of sound.”
He also let us know that this is a song meant to touch you and invoke a sense of joy and happiness. Just based off of our first listen, we can confidently let the reader know that it very much exudes the deep feelings described. As a purely instrumental single, it seems as though it would be slightly more difficult to create emotion, however, the highs and lows of this 8 minute epic make for a song jam packed with emotion and love.
A tip for the listener though, listen to this one on a high quality pair of headphones, you can thank us later. There are so many subtleties you might otherwise miss out on, but it’s still amazing regardless. If you’re looking to be a put into a trance like state, or just need to zone out for a little bit, this is absolutely what we’d recommend. Honestly though, this is a truly wonderful addition to the growing discography of Colin Bussiere and we can’t wait to see what else he’s cooking up in 2021.
Another main thing we loved is the length of the track. It seems as though so many don’t have the patience to sit through something if it isn’t 2 or 3 minutes, but this is just truly something else. A long song like this allows for ideas to build off each other and for you to immerse yourself in the world that has been created. Enough talk though, we think it’s about time you get listening!
