Midway through their U.S. tour playing a ton of songs off their latest record, A Will To Live, New Jersey rockers Titus Andronicus made their way to The Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles for an explosive night of music. Please enjoy our review and full photo gallery below.

For those potentially out of the loop, Titus Andronicus have well emboldened themself in the indie rock scene for 15+ years at this point, consistently experimenting and exploring a wide range and variety of sounds. Though we were initially introduced to the band with their 2010 record The Monitor, they’ve been hard at it in creating new wavelengths across their varied discography. The last time we had the opportunity to cover them was back in 2019 at The Bootleg Theater (RIP) in Los Angeles, so it’s been about four years since they last came into town. Thankfully though, they hadn’t lost a step and the crowd was fully immersed in the show as soon as those opening notes on “My Mother Is Going To Kill Me” hit.

The longing “problem” these days with bands that have such massive catalogs is how do you properly infuse the new songs with the old without having 30+ song set lists. In this case though, the decision making and pacing of Titus Andronicus on this tour has been fantastic. The way that they escalate the energy and weave in peaks of emotion, suspense, and power is downright masterful. Of course some of our favorite songs are the classics like “Fatal Flaw” and “A More Perfect Union”, but some of the newer ones hit just as hard. The crowd was clearly loving every isolated moment through the wavering mosh pits. Some individuals even had to get taken out as things started to get a little intense, however the vibe of the night was generally upbeat, and we can’t think of a better possible band to have celebrated St. Patrick’s Day.

With all that being said though, Titus Andronicus still has heaps of tour dates left on this U.S. tour and we’re urging everyone out there to get to a show as soon as you can. Below you’ll find all the necessary information and links to stay in tune. Enjoy!
