Leading with his voice that could send shivers down your spine, theoneDNA has made his return with yet another instantaneously catchy new track, “Kiss Me Again”. Collaborating on this one with the ever talented Em Davila on vocals as well, the two have aptly put their hearts and souls into creating something with rhythm and endless grooves attached. This was our introduction to the artist, but now having thoroughly enjoyed this song, we’re sincerely looking forward to further releases. To begin though, we’re urging everyone to check this out.
As a bilingual pop singer and songwriter who’s actively breaking down barriers within the industry as an API LGBTQ+ individual, this is exactly the type of artist we want to prop up. Although early on in his career, just having released a debut single in August 2022, theoneDNA has been on the path to greatness with subsequent releases. Specifically on “Kiss Me Again”, there are tons of major standouts that come to mind as you’re hit with a cavalcade of style and sound on the initial listen. The first thing that comes to mind are the feats in production effects, adding to the allure and complexity of the song. We’d recommend listening with a nice pair of headphones as you’d be missing out on the subtleties otherwise.
At just a little over three minutes in length, something typical of a pop song, it feels like it includes so much and truly doesn’t waste a moment. Right from the opening notes, you’re introduced to a variety of ideas and motifs, but it should also go without saying that theoneDNA’s voice really does steal the show. It gives you musical whiplash as your attention sways to the euphoric highs in his delivery, sitting there simply in awe as he manages to hit those high notes. Complemented by Em Davila, the two have gone above and beyond on all accounts. We love this and we know you will too!
