With its official release coming on March 26th, 2021, The F-Use has released his second single of the year. We are absolutely loving it! Read along with us as we share our complete thoughts on the track, in addition to a background on the artist as well.

Currently based out of Nashville. Tennessee, The F-Use is the solo project of writer and performer Matthew Estevez. This alternative rock artist is crafting up hard rocking and original tunes that are truly hard to believe are coming from one talented individual. Having seen multitudes of success on various Reddit subreddits, his music grabbed our attention instantly.

This song without a doubt starts off at an 11 with smooth yet heavy guitar sounds. It’s not long after that the drums come in and take over, but not until the main event comes through, Estevez’s vocals that are beyond jaw-dropping. Capturing the essence of modern rock and roll, The F-Use’s “Chaser” is legitimately one of the best new rock songs that has come across our plate in a while. Not to brag ourselves, but a lot of music crosses our paths, and this has just stood out completely.

While we don’t want to give too much away here, because we’d obviously prefer you listen for yourselves, we can’t get the point across clearly enough that you need to check out this song purely for the vocal delivery. Even if this style of music isn’t your thing, the pure talent that exudes from this song as a whole is worth queuing it up for your next listen. Rock lovers across the board will find something to appreciate, but instrumentally, the song is a complete powerhouse that deserves all the recognition.

While the F-Use did just drop a single in January titled “Find Yourself” that we quite enjoyed, “Chaser” is what we’re preferring if they happened to go head to head. To be honest though, it’s got us incredibly excited to see what else Estevez has hiding up his sleeve for future releases as well. Considering he released a full length record back in 2020, we can only hope that the music being put out stays regular. Although we’d never want to rush an artist to share or create, at least we know we’ll have “Chaser” to keep us at bay for the foreseeable future.

With all this being said, it should come as no surprise in the slightest that this artist and song are getting our high praises and a recommendation to listen. It was an absolute 10 out of 10 thrilling listen and we implore you to check it out as soon as it sees its official release this Friday on March 26th. For now, check out the rest of his music to tide you over.
