Back at it with an incredibly strong songwriting output, Terry K 3tl has just shared his latest single, “To A Friend (Celebration of Life)”. Read on for our positive review of the track, as well as a background on the artist.

Originally from Niagra On The Lake, Canada, Terry K 3tl is a composer, writer, and expertly arranges his lyrics and music. On his newest single “To A Friend (Celebration of Life)”, he’s put his best foot forward in creating something truly spectacular that instantly resonated with us on so many levels. Filled with imagery-filled lyricism and a ton of passion, we wholeheartedly recommend you give this one a listen as soon as possible.

Basing his songs around his well-traveled life, this song is jam packed with emotion right from the get go. While the song is relatively stripped back on the instrumentation side, we did feel that was certainly the right stylistic choice to make purely based on the context and atmosphere of the song. Honestly, the tone of just Terry and his guitar was more than enough for us to stop what we were doing and give 100% focus to this borderline spiritual performance.

While this was just our first introduction to the music of Terry K 3tl, it certainly won’t be our last. We can’t wait to dig into the rest of his music to uncover the gems that must be hiding. Although it does appear that this is the first single on streaming services, surely there’s got to be more that hasn’t been added or is currently in the works. Regardless, we know for the absolute fact this is an artist we’ll be keeping up with as time goes on. In today’s music landscape, it feels as though the emphasis is hardly on the songwriting, but thankfully Terry’s flipped that and given us gold.
