Tanner Paul debuts his expansive first single, "Spaced Out"

Tanner Paul has officially put forth his expansive debut single, “Spaced Out”. We absolutely love what we heard! Read along for our full review of the track, in addition to a bit of background on the artist himself.
Here with a trippy and expansive debut single is none other than Tanner Paul. For a song as good as this one, we can only imagine what the music video is going to look like. According to Tanner, the video is all set to drop for next week and we have to admit, we’re quite excited to see what he’s created. For a song like this as a debut, we’re certain the video should deliver once revealed.
Onto the music though, we are thoroughly impressed with what we heard on “Spaced Out”. Our first impressions of any song are always the single artwork, and when we saw it, our expectations raised a little bit higher. Like any song though, you hope that the artwork somehow sounds like the music, but in the case, it was spot on.
Kicking it off with a “spacey” vibe and atmosphere, Tanner kicks it into high gear with a booming bass, his ultra clear vocals, and top notch production from start to finish. Although the song is shorter at around a 3 minute runtime, it absolutely packed a punch with all of the theatrics and drama that were featured.
In feel, it certainly is oozing more of a psychedelic vibe, which we love to hear and see in the music we review. At its base though, you can really tell Tanner had a fun time making this. As a solo artist, we assume that all creative direction can be attributed to the way that he wanted it to be crafted, so we’re commending him on the positive direction he took.
For a debut single of any kind, it can be sort of hit or miss. The artist may be nervous or not sure where they want their future sound to take them, but in this case, all we want is more Tanner Paul music that sounds exactly like this. In fact even an EP or full length album of songs just like this would for sure be a winner in our eyes!
