Releasing in early 2021, Sweetwood Amber Remedy have an absolutely fantastic record set to release, titled Tilt N’ Shake. After listening over and over, these guys are for real. Read along with us for our full detailed review of the album, in addition to a brief bio on the band.

Sweetwood Amber Remedy, made up of core members Cody Vaillant (Vox/Guitar), Tyson Hiseler (Bass), and Mike Schlosser (Drums) have come together to create a collection of beauty that we’re thrilled to see fully released early next year. Like most projects created this year, it was born out of the pandemic .

According to the band, “This self produced album has nine swagger packed songs featuring energetic, retro tinged, hook fueled rock riffs & stellar soaring vocals. A self described Rock n' Roll Pinball Machine From Space In Dagger Collars & Flares”. If that doesn’t make you immediately want to preorder this record on Bandcamp, then we truly don’t know what could. Let us tell you right now though, they’ve got an incredibly unique hand numbered and signed lathe cut vinyl that you can order ahead of the record as well. You better hurry before they run out.

Onto the music though, Tilt N’ Shake is a fiery rock-fueled record that’s taking glimmers of the classics and invigorating new and lively sounds by these incredibly talented musicians. Instrumentally speaking, it’s got soaring guitar riffs, big bombtastic drums, hooky bass lines, and smooth vocal deliveries all over the place that really makes this one big cohesive listen. As lovers of all things rock and roll, it always takes something real good to impress us, but this has certainly impressed on just one run through of a listen.

Now we don’t want to give too much away here, because we’d much prefer you listened for yourself, but this is the type of music that’ll have you playing the air guitar in no time. As classic as the overall sound really is, the band truly has put their own spin on things, especially on tracks like “Mother Lovin’ Truth”, “Sky on Fire”, and the closer, “My Guitar”.

What we’re trying to say here is that you should be quite excited for February 1st to roll around when the album officially releases. Until then, order it, and get excited!
