Filled to the absolute brim with passion and emotion, every piece of music that Stephen James The Artist releases into the world has that certain genuineness about it. On his newest single “Euphoria”, that fact stays true. Getting to speak with Stephen all about this song and so much more was the perfect background for an artist who feels like he’s filled with allure. Getting to break down those barriers was a blast and we sincerely can’t wait for everyone to check our talk.
With a genre style that spans anywhere from Soul to Hip Hop to Rock elements, Stephen isn’t confining himself to a specific bubble of sound. In fact we feel that “Euphoria” is one of his more diverse releases as of late. It’s sort of got this trap-inspired beat, but his lyricism and an almost R&B feel to it deliver layers on this track that we haven’t experienced before. With the help of some extremely instrumental producers on his music like Wizard Lee, Stephen is setting himself up for a bright future in the industry.
As the independent music scene continues to rapidly expand due to the ease of recording music these days, it’s easier than ever to put a facade in order to be someone you’re not. One of our favorite parts about this artist as a person is that he’s staying true to himself and keeping his creative freedoms. Everything you hear or experience is coming from a musician with a vision for his sound and style. Although he’s at the beginning of his career with a blossoming discography, we wholeheartedly feel that this is an artist worth keeping your eyes on.
