Sophia Salcido showcases dynamic vocals on single, "Everywhere"
Putting her vocals on display for the world to adore, Sophia Salcido has delivered yet another beautiful new single titled “Everywhere”. Please read on for a closer look at our thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the artist.
Originally from Utah, but now based out of Nashville where she’s been exclusively recording with Off The Row, Sophia Salcido has put out something special in “Everywhere”. Having always been involved in music, she’s finally put her best foot forward and shared her first five singles that have garnered quite a bit of streams so far. At only 16 years old, we can confidently say that she’s got what it takes and this is a track you won’t want to miss out on.
So much of what we’re enjoying about this song, and there’s a lot of things, but is that Sophia doesn’t necessarily need to just rely on her vocals for that “wow” factor. A quick realization is that her songwriting is already incredibly proficient in that she’s got this seamless way to paint a picture for the listeners to visualize what’s going on. “Everywhere” feels like this reminiscent song about someone special, but you can feel in Sophia’s passion that this person truly means so much.
The instrumentation is stripped back in a sense, but is the right stylistic choice as anything more grandiose could take away from the importance that the rest of the song holds. You’re basically getting a stellar vocal performance and lyricism that makes you stop and actually attempt to connect the dots of a story. There’s no pointless production gimmicks to entice the listener, rather a straightforward single that gives off that wholesome feeling with an upbeat vibe from start to finish.
As you can probably tell, we’re super into this song! We think everyone out there will be too which is why we're recommending all give it a listen as soon as you can.
