Written as a love letter to his new wife Valerie, Sidney Riley’s “It’s Always Been You” is an extremely heartfelt yet immensely catchy song that’s a winner from start to finish. Originally debuted and revealed to his wife on their wedding day, it’s a love-based ballad that’s taken inspiration directly from some of the greats like The Righteous Brothers and Elvis Presley. Of course getting to speak directly with Sidney was the cherry on top to an already incredible song, which is why we’re recommending you check out both as soon as possible.
Following up his critically acclaimed single “Exposure” from last year, there’s no doubt in our minds that this latest song will surpass the former in the ranks soon enough. Hearing directly from the source regarding this song’s production was the ideal behind the scenes look into how it really came together.
